Who is considered a Resident?
» Anyone who lives within the boundaries of the Holland Public School District pays for the Aquatic Center operation in their taxes and is considered a resident.
How can I show that I am a resident?
» Just bring a valid ID with you and show it at our front desk.
Do I have to be a resident to use the Aquatic Center?
» No, everyone is welcome to use our Center.
Who is considered a “Senior”?
» Anyone who is 62 or older is considered a senior and is eligible for our special senior membership rate.
Who may be included on my family membership?
» A "family" for membership purposes is defined as two adults residing in the same dwelling and their children (dependents) of whom they have legal custody. This definition does not include other relatives whether living in the same dwelling or not. Identification (driver's license) may be required to determine a common address.
If I pay your single visit rate may I leave and come back again?
» The single visit rate is valid for one visit only. If you leave the facility you will be required to pay for re-entry.
Do you have a family changing room?
» No, but we have a special needs locker area with changing rooms for those who need it. Children 5 years and older must either use the gender appropriate locker rooms or the special needs locker room to be assisted by an adult of the opposite gender.
May I buy a membership for just the fitness room?
» No. Our memberships include use of the entire facility.
Do I have to pay to go into the pool area even if I don’t want to swim?
» Yes. Anyone passing our front desk is required to pay admission. If you are attending with children who are at least 48” tall you are welcome to watch from our free viewing area in the upstairs bleachers.
May I use your phones?
» The phones at our front desk are for business use only. Guests are encouraged to use the pay phone in the lobby.
Do you have food available?
» There is a snack machine in our lobby. We ask that guest enjoy snacks in the lobby before or after swimming. We don’t allow food in the locker area or pool area, so you should plan on eating before you come or after you leave.
Do you sell swim diapers for children who are not toilet trained?
» Yes. We require either a swim diaper or a cloth diaper with a tight-fitting rubber pant for children who are not toilet trained. Swim diapers are available to purchase for $2 at our front desk.
Do you have lockers?
» Yes, but there are no locks on them. You may bring a lock from home, rent one for a charge of 50 cents, or buy a lock to keep for $5.
Do you rent out swim suits and towels?
» Towels are available for a 50 cent rental charge. We do not rent swim suits.
May I wear a t-shirt over my swim suit in the pool?
» Swimsuits are required - leotards, cutoff shorts, and t-shirts will not be allowed.
Do you allow lifejackets?
Yes, we allow only US Coast Guard approved lifejackets.
